Casa Monte Novo is a wonderful property for a family holiday or quiet retreat in the Algarve with the charm and flair of a typical Algarve country house.



Located in the coastal countryside close to Praia da Marinha beach, at only a short drive from the idyllic fishermen’s village of Carvoeiro and the city of Lagoa, this classic villa has 4 air-conditioned bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room, dining room and equipped kitchen. The two bedrooms on the upper floor also have a private terrace, a retreat with seating area and wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean.



The spacious outdoor area offers large (partly covered) terraces with several (shaded) seating areas, a barbecue corner with dining table, pool (heatable at extra cost) with sun loungers and a beautiful sea view.



Several restaurants and Praia da Marinha beach are within walking distance, but transportation is still recommended as there are no nearby shopping facilities.

Great location - Incredible villa

The villa was amazing for our needs. It's walking distance to the beach and a really good local restaurant. The pool is a brilliant size and was plenty big enough for 2 adults and 4 teenagers to be all in it at once. Amazing outdoor spaces with some well-designed shade spots to escape the sun for a bit. All rooms are a great size and the outdoor social spaces are brilliant. It's a 10-minute drive to a large supermarket and 5 or 10 minutes to 2 other beaches in the area, so would suggest hiring a car. The 3 nearest beaches are absolutely stunning. We had an amazing holiday and will definitely look to book Casa Monte Novo again.

Fantastic villa with great service

The house was beyond all our expectations. It is very spacious inside and outside. Bedrooms and badrooms are very good and the kitchen has everything what you need: Krups-Nespresso coffeemaker, toaster, watercooker, oven, microwave, large fridge and lots of pottery as well. Also it is very large with a nice bar to have lunch or even dinner. Then the outside, it has lots of places to sit and relax and there is a great grillplace. Also the view from the garden is great, lots of nature directly in front of the house and further away the ocean can be overlooked. Cleaning services were provided everyday, which we found very convenient as well. The Benagil Caves/cliffs are within walking distance, so a very nice walk is easy to do. I would really recommend this place as we had a great experience!

A casa é excelente com um espaço exterior fabuloso. Para os mais exercitados a casa fica a 12m a pe da praia de Benegilde. Um sossego próximo de tudo. Com uma limpeza diária excelente.

Incredible house for incredible holidays!

Me and my 3 friends pass incredible holidays in this incredible house!! Really like the pictures, for real it's better! We just fall in love with this house, the Algarve and the Portugal! We just come back and are already thinking about new holidays in this house! The personal were very good with us, thanks to Fatima and the others. For me the only little problem it's that they didn't explain us that every day someone comes for work... Maybe it could be good to ask if we want that the cleaning team come everyday or not... We arrived sunday in the end of the afternoon, Fatima and the cleaning team come Monday, Tuesday was free (1rst may), Wednesday come Fatima with the repairman for the wasching machine and the cleaning team, Thursday come the pool cleaner at 8 a.m, friday come back of the cleaning team and an other woman from the agency (she ask us when we go for say to the cleaning team when to come, we say 3 pm satudray, cleaning team come at 1.30pm saturday), saturday in the morning come the gardener... We really think it was to much, and nobody tel us that it will be like this. Monday Fatima just tell us for the repairman... SoI think it could be really good to explain or maybe ask, because we don't think that the cleaning team need to come every day like an hotel. But for real, we LOVE this house and our holidays in this house! We recommand it!!! Thanks for all!

Monte Novo fanden wir sehr gut

Wir hatten das Haus mit zwei Familien, vier Kinder, vier Erwachsene gemietet und fanden es hervorragend. Sehr viel Platz, guter Pool (Beleuchtung nachts wäre freilich noch toller), sehr schön und großzügig gestalteter Außenbereich mit großem Grill, Inneneinrichung geschmackvoll, Küche gut ausgestattet. Service mit Pool- und Hausreinigung sehr freundlich und tadellos, auch sonst gute Organisation und Ansprechbarkeit der Verwaltung. Strand von Benagil mit den berühmten Grotten nach ca 15 Minuten Fußmarsch erreichbar. Gute bis sehr gute Restaurants ebenfalls, Supermärkte nur per Auto. Können uns gut vorstellen, wieder zu kommen. dgw, Berlin, 8/2017

O luxo do espaço !

A localização é incrível e a casa é muito agradável com imenso espaço interior, boas varandas óptima piscina, zona de estar e barbecue enorme, um grande lote de terreno, vistas largas e desimpedidas directamente para o mar. O serviço de limpeza é impecável ! Quanto aos defeitos a casa está a necessitar de uma repintura interior, de resolver uns pontos de ferrugem e de estar mais bem apetrechada de pratos, talheres e copos. A TV tb merecia ser melhor. Nada que tivesse impedido uma semana de férias excepcional nesta grande casa cheia de espaços interiores e exteriores. Não tenho dúvida em recomendar e repetir !
