This place was essentially exactly as pictured and described. It was ideal for our needs on this particular trip. Its proximity to maybe the hospital or something means that it can be subject to fairly constant traffic sounds. Cars passing by. But this did not bother either of us whatsoever.Someone mentioned to shortage of available electrical outlets, true! But just because the place is older and not so expensively built. You can find a way to plug your stuff in, for sure. My suggestion to the host is simple - change the lightbulbs from the cool white you’re using now to a much softer warm white. The cool midcentury overhead fixtures you’ve hung are really unusable because when you turn it on it overwhelms the room with cold fluorescent light because of those bulbs. Change them for a warmer temp and problem solved. Kitchen was great! We cooked a full meal and didn’t need anything but our food. Perhaps buy a box fan and leave in a closet? Some people need the white noise to sleep and especially with the ambient neighborhood noise at this location. Overall - this place will always hold room in my heart because the nature of the trip itself. Grateful to have found it and used it for that purpose. Thank you guys.
