The rooms were a reasonable size with a separate toilet. You could swap breakfast for lunch with prior notice. The train and bus stops were extremely close. Overall it was a really nice place to stay.

The rooms were clean, staff were friendly and the location was fantastic. The hotel is just walking distance to the station and just one stop to Kyoto station. there's a very close Starbucks nearby, a convenience store and a couple of restaurants that serves really good meal options. Will definitely stay in this hotel again.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The room size, cleanliness, and amenities were all exceptional. What truly stood out, however, was the outstanding customer service and warmth of the staff. One of the receptionists made a memorable effort to communicate with us in one of our native languages—a gesture that felt incredibly welcoming and personal. Moments like these transform a good stay into an unforgettable one. While we didn't have breakfast at the property, there's a convenient coffee shop Sizuya-Shichijo nearby offering delicious options for around 800 yen, which worked perfectly for us. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking quality accommodations paired with genuinely thoughtful service.

Probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at in Japan. The room we got was bigger than the ones we got at Shinjuku and Osaka. Bathroom is massive as well and gave us enough room space for two people with two luggage’s. The place has a public bath available and we were informed that guests with tattoos were allowed to use it which was fantastic. Family mart is right downstairs and is able to be accessed by the hotel side so you don’t have to walk out. New amenities and room was cleaned every day. Also, very close to the station. The aquarium as well is nearby which can be a fun day activity for people. Personally, it did feel kind of far from everything in Kyoto but if guests are too tired to go anywhere else after exploring Kyoto, the Family Mart has many options available for food. Very satisfied with our stay and will book with this chain again in the future.

This hotel was the nicest hotel I stayed in during my trip in Japan. The location was great as it was a very short walk to the park, Kyoto aquarium and train museum. It was also right beside the station which is just one stop away from Kyoto station. There is also a combini within the hotel so I never needed to leave the hotel to get something from a combini. The rooms were great as the room and bathroom were more spacious and very clean. The public bath was also very nice and not very crowded during my stay. The staff were very helpful and welcoming which was nice. I ordered a luggage transfer from this hotel and the staff handled my luggage and paperwork for me which was great. I did not try any dining options so I have no comments on that. The hotel provided everything I would want and need in a hotel. Great rooms, price, amenities, location and service. I have no complaints with my stay here and would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.
