Probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at in Japan. The room we got was bigger than the ones we got at Shinjuku and Osaka. Bathroom is massive as well and gave us enough room space for two people with two luggage’s. The place has a public bath available and we were informed that guests with tattoos were allowed to use it which was fantastic. Family mart is right downstairs and is able to be accessed by the hotel side so you don’t have to walk out. New amenities and room was cleaned every day. Also, very close to the station. The aquarium as well is nearby which can be a fun day activity for people. Personally, it did feel kind of far from everything in Kyoto but if guests are too tired to go anywhere else after exploring Kyoto, the Family Mart has many options available for food. Very satisfied with our stay and will book with this chain again in the future.

Great hotel to stay at! Rooms are bigger than what you see in the picture, bathroom/shower space was big, my room was cleaned every time I got back to my hotel which was really nice. The staff was welcoming and friendly and helped me to send my luggage to Tokyo. I would stay at this hotel again!

This was a wonder property to stay at. The staff were both friendly and helpful. The room was excellent value for the price. Large bed, sleek design, and a wonderful bathroom. This hotel was the nicest hotel I stayed in during my trip in Japan. The location was great as it was a very short walk to the park, Kyoto aquarium and train museum. It was also right beside the station which is just one stop away from Kyoto station. There is also a combini within the hotel so I never needed to leave the hotel to get something from a combini. The rooms were great as the room and bathroom were more spacious and very clean. The public bath was also very nice and not very crowded during my stay. The staff were very helpful and welcoming which was nice. I ordered a luggage transfer from this hotel and the staff handled my luggage and paperwork for me which was great. I did not try any dining options so I have no comments on that. The hotel provided everything I would want and need in a hotel. Great rooms, price, amenities, location and service. I have no complaints with my stay here and would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

This property exceeded my expectation. It is a quick 1-stop train ride from Kyoto station. The property is right across the station with a Starbucks and Family Mart right next to it. There are also good restaurants and the Kyoto aquarium within walking distance to the property. The room is spacious than the usual in Japan and bathroom is very modern. Cleanliness in the entire hotel is very visible. There is a public bath offered for free, a traditional bath in Japan. The room is furnished with a safe, mini fridge and complete toiletries with a set of pj for the public bath which you can also wear in the room. There's a room for ice and a microwave along the hallway and a vending machine by the public bath. I need to mention how impressed we were with breakfast. It was a buffet with a lot of hot dishes, mixed of Japanese and American, desserts and drinks. Better to include the breakfast to your reservation.

Liked the hot bath available at the hotel - great after a day of sightseeing. Family Mart very useful. Downside - quite a distance away from centre of city - have to take the train or bus or a 20 mins walk.

The hotel room was well equipped and decorated. The amemties such as pyjamas, Japanese baths, microwave and ice machine in utility areas, attached supermarket were excellent additions. The breakfast was also excellent. The location is very good, just outside Kyoto centre. There is a train station within a 1 minute walk from hotel and it is a 5minute train journey to main Kyoto train station right in the centre of Kyoto. The bus station is also attached to the train station, which means you can get to all area easily. Our family will be returning to Japan and will definitely return to this hotel.
