The breakfast is buffet, but most of the staff, including those in the kitchen, were coughing without masks. Food choices are limited, especially if you have any food allergies. The location isn't bad. It's right next to Nijo Station, which is really convenient. The room is nice, and the shower is great. If they had a better buffet, I would give this location a 4-star rating.

Location is fine. Internet is not very good. Usable, but won't blow your mind. Very well connected being across the street from jr nijo with frequent sanin line access to kyoto station. Tozai line is super convenient. The hotel itself....if you don't like bumping shoulders with foreigners you should probably look elsewhere. Lots of rude tourists and etiquette is lacking. Laundry machines get hogged, and people are very rude about getting access to them. Otherwise, the area is great. There's a food court style mall next to nijo station with some great restaurants, and a huge life supermarket down the street.

Central location with awesome facilities, larger and more sophisticated rooms than other options. Across the street from Nijo station which gives you easy and convenient access to all of Kyoto via the subway/train. Highly recommend

We really liked this property, beds were large and pretty comfortable. Breakfast was good but didnt change much. Endless soda, coffee and tea was great. Many in our group used the baths and loved them. Across the street from nijo station and bus stops so great access to transportation

Generally speaking, everything was fine, the quality was really great. Most surprising part is theres a ping-pong table in the lobby, and it was free! Gym is small tho, but it is clean.

Unlimited free coffee, tea and flavoured sodas was a nice touch, saved going out to buy coffee every morning. Laundry machines were handy however the dryer portion took long, so we hung some of our clothes to dry in our room. Beds were clean and decent comfort. Bathroom and shower was fantastic.

Great hotel right across from person. Very easy to get to the popular sites from here. Nice little breakfast buffet in the mornings and a perfect spot to rest after sightseeing all day. Very nice hotel!

Staff were great and very helpful and friendly. Our room had a huge king size bed. The pillows and mattresses were soft. Washrooms looked newly renovated. The room itself looked a little older with the carpeting and walls had some liggage scuff marks but other than that it was fine. The breakfast could have had more options and selections. Free coffee and juice were great. There's always rhe 7-11 across the street for breakfast options. Location was perfect across from the station.
