Quaint and charming. Clean and comfortable. The heat in the hallway can be a bit off-putting. The rooms were decent size for the price. Staff members are friendly, helpful and speaks good English. Among the best accommodation I've experienced in years. Very clean and comfortable room. The reading area is fantastic, and the shared movie nights are a great idea. Not far from Kyoto station either.

This is an excellent property in every respect. Great location near the central train and bus station, Kyoto tower, and many restaurants and historic sites. The staff were super helpful. The guest kitchen and laundry downstairs were a bonus. The salmon bagel breakfast set is a great way to start the day.
