We loved that this property was located so close to the main Kyoto station where there were plenty of dining options. The staff were friendly and helpful with our luggage forwarding needs and the buffet breakfast… one of the best! The only negative comment, there were not enough washing machines and dryers in the laundry room - there was always a queue and a long wait. Having to set an alarm to go in the middle of the night seemed to be the only option.

The standard one expects for a four star hotel in Japan. Very clean and tidy, most conveniences afforded to similar hotels, Japanese and western cuisine on offer for breakfast and dining. Unfortunately, I was not able to use the much promising spa and gymnasium. Only slight discomfort was the need to stock up the room with tea and coffee, although it must be said, there is free tea and coffee at the ground level lounge. Still, not ideal for guests who have been travelling g all day and can’t be asked to come down and sit in busy room in Pedro enjoy a cup of coffee

The rooms were immaculate and large. Very happy with how comfortable the beds were. The public bath (women) was a wonderful experience. The pubic baths were very clean and well-maintained. I used the washer/dyers twice without issue. Staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The hotel offers free umbrella use if you notice rain as you exit the main entrance/exit. In an amazing location near Kyoto Station but far enough away to avoid the crowds coming/going from the station. Highly recommend staying here!

We visited Kyoto and stayed at this hotel. The stay was excellent. Clean, the breakfast excellent, and the service first-class. I've stayed in several hotels in various countries, and this was, without a doubt, the one where I felt completely happy and safe. I highly recommend this hotel. I hope to visit again on my next trip to Kyoto.

I had a great stay at Hotel Vischio.The whole staff was very professionalThe complimentary drinks were very much appreciated. Super close to kyoto station and airport bus to kansai. The ride to all shopping areas were 2-3 subway stops away. Room was tidy and very comfortable.The cleaning staff were amazing.I have no complaints at all. Highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in kyoto!

The staff were wonderful, and special shout out to the concierge greeting visitors on the day of our arrival 14Oct - he was so friendly and made an effort to settle us in. Especially fun was when he introduced us to the RoboKitty because he noticed my fascination with its mobility. Thank you for an enjoyable first visit to Kyoto.

Wonderful hotel choice, less than 10 minute walk to Kyoto station. Quiet area but walkable to many shops and food options. Loved the public bath option. The staff was great and helped with our luggage transfer. We did not include the breakfast option and it was a bit overpriced at around $30 usd per person.

Luxury stay

Beautiful hotel that is across the street from Kyoto Station. Amenities include free coffee, tea, bath house for Men and Women, massage chairs, coin laundry, breakfast for a fee and a safe in the room. They also offer complimentary toiletries. It is across the street from Don Quiote and a 7 min walk to Aeon Mall. 5/5 stay! The arent many restaurants nearby.
