I booked a house with Vrbo through the Expedia app. The morning of my reservation I was sent an email that I was staying at a Super 8 and not a house. Super 8 called twice telling me that I hadn’t paid for the room. It took 2 hours on the phone with Expedia who transferred me to Vrbo to straighten out the problem. Then when we arrived they changed my reservation from 3 people to 1 person and I had to work out getting a proper room with two queen beds instead of 1 king bed. This was not a fun experience.

The room itself was OK. No desk lamp so impossible to work on my laptop in the evening. Called the front desk and was basically told it is what it is! Check in was with an older Hindu gentleman who was lost as far as the process. After driving 4 hours, I needed to get some reports out and the 30 minute check-in didn'y cut it! My bedspread had to ciggerette burn holes in it and the shower knob could barely be turned as it was grinding bare metal! The breakfast they offered, from the watered down coffee to the pre-packaged bagels, and warm yogurts were a joke. I know it is only a Super 8 proprty but corporate needs to visit this property and make changes!
