The Space:

Villa Kokopelli offers a comfortable and well-equipped space for up to 6 guests.



The villa features three bedrooms: bedroom 1 has a king-size bed, bedroom 2 a queen-size bed, and bedroom 3 two twin beds, suitable for a variety of travel groups. There are two bathrooms. The spacious living room flows directly into a fully equipped open kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, freezer, oven, dishwasher, toaster, blender, coffee maker, ice maker, and kettle. Outside, a private garden, covered veranda, and terrace await, perfect for breakfast in the open air, an afternoon siesta in the shade, or a long dinner under the stars.

Good to know:

- Distance to Kralendijk: Villa Kokopelli is situated a little outside Kralendijk's center. That means extra peace and space, and with a rental car you're in town within minutes for shops, restaurants, and the harbor.

- No dining table indoors: the villa doesn't have a fixed dining table inside, but the spacious covered veranda has a table where you can enjoy meals al fresco, with sea views as the backdrop.

- Animal visitors: occasionally a curious lizard, a colorful bird, or another local resident may wander into the garden. A perfectly normal and charming part of life on Bonaire.



Guest Access:

As a guest of Villa Kokopelli, you have full access to the entire villa: all three bedrooms, both bathrooms, the living room, the open kitchen, and all outdoor spaces, including the private garden, covered veranda, and terrace. The private pool is exclusively for villa guests. Free street parking is available directly in front of the property. To welcome our guests warmly and provide information about the accommodation and our beautiful island, all arrivals are handled personally. The Sunwise hosts will coordinate the check-in time with you in advance.



The Neighborhood:

Villa Kokopelli is located in El Pueblo Villas, a quiet villa district on the western side of Bonaire. The neighborhood is characterized by spacious plots, minimal through traffic, and a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for those looking to truly unwind. At the same time, the location is practical: snorkel spot Oil Slick Leap is within cycling distance, and Bonaire's sights and amenities are easily reached by rental car. The western position of the neighborhood also means stunning evening views over the Caribbean Sea.



Villa Kokopelli is approximately 4.8 kilometers from Zhung Kong supermarket, 4.9 kilometers from Dive Friends Hamlet dive center, 650 meters from Oil Slick Leap, 8.3 kilometers from the center of Kralendijk and 8 kilometers from It Rains Fishes restaurant.



Sunwise insider tip: Just a few minutes' drive from Villa Kokopelli lies Bari Reef and Isidel Beach Park, one of the most celebrated dive sites in the entire Caribbean. Bari Reef is renowned for being ranked number one for fish diversity by REEF, the leading reef fish survey organization, with more than 300 species recorded. The reef starts just below the surface, making it accessible for snorkelers as well. Isidel Beach Park offers a comfortable entry point with facilities, making it an ideal spot for a day of water activities close to home.



Getting Around:

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Villa Kokopelli. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in to Villa Kokopelli is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations.
