Overall the stay was ok. There were too many small things that took away from the overall enjoyment of our short stay. The biggest issue was no hot water in the shower. No matter what position the habdle was in or how ling we ran the water, it remained lukewarm at best. Very disappointing. Then there was the issue with the TV remote. The remote box was botled to the back of the TV, why? It made the relay from the bed to the TV spotty at best. The signal couldn't clearly reach the receiver so changing channels was horrible. Front desk upon check in was super. Rosa checked us in quickly and provided information when asked. Overall this is one of the least favorite experiences atva Hilton.

Room seemed turn upside down when we got into our room. Office chair was in the corner of the room. And arm chair had the cushion flipped up. Floors seems not vacuumed. Mirror in the bathroom was cloudy.

Staff was wonderful. Shower was not great in the room (door didn't slide easily or stay closed). Unfortunately we picked a night where a hockey group was also staying. Lots of kids running around and doors slamming. By 11pm things quietted down.

I had a terrible experience at th Hilton Garden Inn in Cambridge. It started when I checked in. The front desk person was very rude and and smelled of alcohol. I made it to my room and unpacked. I came back down to grab a little bit of dinner and the bartender was very nice and quite chatty which I am OK with. Got back to my room and found hairs in the bathroom but looked past it and went to bed on a mattress that quite clearly had seen a better day and pillows that were absolutely terrible. I cam back after work the next night with a colleague and we decided to stay in for dinner. That was a huge mistake. I first had an Old Fashioned or at least the bartenders version. It was absolutely terrible. He had no orange so he put lemon in the drink. You don't do that to an old fashioned. I complained and he just said he would give me a discount. My mistake, I should have refused it. My work colleague cam down with his wife and we ordered the appetizer tray which was ok. Not great but OK. We all ordered the strip loin dinner but we re told after 1/2 hr that there was none left so they offered the rib eye for the same price. WQe all greed and waited another 1/2 hr for the food to come out. I should mention that we ordered medium, medium and medium rare for how we wanted to have the steak. When they finally came out they were extra well done. Absolutely like show leather. When we complained the waiter said that thats how they come.
