Let me start by mentioning, I was a traveling sales person for years, so I have stayed in many, many hotel/motels around the U.S. That said, the Red Roof Inn was amoung the worst.
The person that checked us in really should not be in the service industry. She was indifferent, at best, however, that was probably the best part of our stay there. First impression of our rooms was that they had never been updated, or even maintained, in far too long.
The bathrooms are DISGUSTING. See pics, as they are beyond description.
The beds are very loud. Every time you shift, even a little bit, the squeeking of the bed (think freight train) wakes eveyone in the room.
When I mentioned these issues to the person at the front counter, again, I was met with cold, borderline rude, attitude.
In short, do NOT stay here if you are expecting a comfortable, restful night.
