This Inn was pretty cute, and is directly on the water, as promised. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The buildings, elevator, and rooms are pretty worn. Lots of rust stains, scratches in paint, lots of wear and tear. But for the price we paid during the off season, I didn't mind. And sitting outside right on the beach sure was lovely.

Overall this was our first experience at this location and we have already booked a room with an ocean view for next year, as it was a perfect location and beautifully situated within a 30 second walk to the beach. The boardwalk, tables and chairs with an ocean view were a freat place to enjoy coffee while listening to the waves. The staff was very polite and helpful, the free breakfast was great, and the showers were high pressure with nice hot water. The room was nice enough, although i would suggest bringing your pillow, as the ones supplied are kind of small. The pillows arent bad just small. Parking is a bit tricky, but not terrible. Another very convenient thing is Kill Devil Grill is just across the street. Overall a great experience for a weekend getaway.

We will enjoyed our stay. The girl at the front desk was really nice during our check-in. Our room was oceanfront with chairs on a private terrace. The hotel is conveniently located between two piers and was close to shopping and restaurants.

Very clean room and was serviced every day without asking. We got an efficiency unit nut there was only a coffee pot, ice bucket, 2 burner stove and refrigerator with a few cooking utensils, one frying pan and 2 small and medium pot. No dishes, cups, glasses, plates, bowls or silverware. Because it was efficiency we could not have ocean front view either. Ground floor with no ocean view, no private balcony. Parking was right in front of the room. Couldn’t open the curtain either. Would had no privacy at all since the pool area was across the parking lot on the main road. Very disappointed where our room was located but it was very clean. When I told the service desk I as upset about no ocean view at all she didn’t offer any alternative. May not have had any other room but she didn’t tell me that either. Didn’t seem to care. Take it or leave it.
