Hotel was really run down. Things falling apart on the wall walls roughed up needs renovated bad. Cannot get into the first room could not get the door open door key would work but it's as the door was locked from the inside this was an old beat up metal door with a key lock on it. The second room we got the door opened at first we thought it was okay however further looking at the bathroom was gross there was a hole in the main room ceiling in the corner which was really suspicious. Outside other customers staying seemed really questionable. Two people outside looked as if they were exchanging something.

Uncomfortable, Noisy, and doubly-charged

We booked a room as a layover on our way through Missouri. We arrived late at night, and left before 6am. Though we'd fully paid on Hotels.com, when we made the reservation, the clerk ran a credit card for $100. I though it was a hold, for incidentals, but we were charged the full $100. The room wasn't quiet or comfortable, which is why we left with 6 hours of sleep. It had a very strong flowery smell, the temp control didn't seem to work (it was cold and humid), and there was an inch gap under the hallway door - through which we heard hallway conversations and saw the bright hall light all night.

I'll start by saying that the hotel is currently being renovated. However, it should not be open to booking in its current condition. The room smelled like the was sewage issue nearby. The toilet ran. The bath tub was old and peeling. The security look was missing on my door.7
