This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room smelled musty, and the bathroom leaked all night from both the toilet and tub, leaving the floor damp. There was barely any toilet paper (we ran out completely) and only one old, rough towel for two guests. My wife had to go to the front desk to get basics since no one delivers supplies to rooms.
The hotel claims housekeeping is done every third day, but our room wasn’t cleaned on the third, fourth, or even fifth day. When I called, the front desk gave excuses and lied, saying no one was available to help. Minutes later, my wife went down, and the General Manager, Haydee Bernal, came out at 7:45 p.m., proving that wasn’t true.
We also saw the manager yelling at another guest and threatening to call the police when she calmly complained about her conference booking—unbelievably unprofessional behavior.
After returning home, I contacted Expedia for an adjustment. They reached out to the hotel, but the property refused any refund or waiver, hiding behind “policy.” Even after everything that went wrong, they wouldn’t take responsibility.
Between the musty smell, leaking bathroom, lack of supplies, dishonest staff, and refusal to make things right, this property is a disgrace to the Wyndham name. It’s run down, poorly managed, and not worth a penny. Avoid this hotel at all costs.
