Got transferred to the hotel next to it (America Best Value Inn) and: The furniture was worn out and old. The ironing board was broken. Cigar smell in the bathroom at night. Got no room service during our stay.

It is a good hotel for the price. (You get what you pay for) Negatives: The breakfast is something that could definitely be improved: muffins taste just like cardboard, and there are no proteins offered. It is one I would consider more a motel than a hotel. Some staff could learn to be better at their customer service skills. Positives: Nice rooms, neat, decently clean, and plenty of food places, and light shopping around. Close to highway for travelers. Plenty of parking. Staff are nice, not overbearing. Would I stay again: Yes, because it is affordable, worth what you pay, convenient, and decent.

The room wasn’t very clean. The soap and shampoo were both empty. The bathroom exhaust fan made horrible noise and the light flickered. About every five minutes, the toilet would start running and squeals very loudly each time. The door guard clasp was broken. I had to pay a $50 security deposit upon arrival and there was a list in the room of items and their values. Problem was, most of the items in the list weren’t even there. The ironing board was missing. The in room coffee pot was missing,. Etc. This place is complete trash. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.
Loved the secure feeling we afforded by staying here.

The staff was helpful checking in. I got charged to check in early and I’ve never experienced that. They also acted like they couldn’t find my reservation at first. I had to pay a deposit, which was also a first. Usually they just hold your card info incase they need to use it for incidentals so hopefully it doesn’t take too long to credit back. Breakfast was slim pickings and their juice machine was down. Our friends stayed and got put in a smoking room for some reason and got told they’d be charged $10 to switch rooms, luckily they talked themselves out of that. Lobby was closed at 11:30, so we couldn’t go use to ATM to get cash for their vending machine. Overall, for the price of the hotel it was a fine stay.

First I did the preregister, car, ID, credit card and then when I checked in they asked for all of it over again. They ask for $50 deposit and in the room they have a plaque that lists the cost of anything you take or damage. But some of those things were missing from our room already. The bathroom was dirty and had bugs in it. The attendant just apologized for everything but didn’t offer to do anything about it. There was really no food for breakfast and the coffee was undrinkable. I would not recommend this motel unless you don’t have a choice.
