The hotel is under renovation so there was supplies and material all over the parking lot and in the hotel. Stayed at this same hotel last year at the same time and it was in way better condition. Not a bad stay but hotel was dirtier and not as pleasant as the previous year.

Hotel is currently undergoing remodeling (as it was last fall) and it’s probably 5 years overdue. Furniture in lobby/breakfast areas as well as in our room in pretty bad shape (upholstery worn out). Bed pillows way too thin. Staff pleasant and breakfast offerings were good. Location convenient to our friends’ home in Mattawan.

We love our getaways to this hotel. Safe area with restaurants nearby, the hotel is nice and has Jacuzzi tubs in some of the rooms (which is what we always book). The breakfast is good and all the staff is helpful and kind.
