Overnight stay in Buyukada

As part of a longer trip, my wife and I stayed at the Splendid to check out Buyukada. The hotel has great character and excellent interiors, with amazing furnishings. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back and for longer the next time we visit Buyukada.

Overnight birthday celebration.

Ours was an overnight stay for a birthday celebration. The staff were friendly, the room was spacious, and the hotel is well preserved for a historic building. The art deco salon with original furniture and stylish cocktail bar is a great place to spend time in and drink a classic cocktail. During my birthday breakfast, the waiting staff provided a surprise cake, and we were also given a fruit platter on arrival and a late checkout before departing. A memorable stay in a charming hotel.

Generally pretty expensive for the area, the photos make it seem pretty good, but it was really no where near worth the $175 a night I paid. No AC, broken electrical outlets, non-working mini fridge (that claimed was working - just slightly below room temp was considered working to them). Its an old attractive building with a nice swimming pool and good breakfast. But that's about it.

The hotel is very pretty, the swimming pool wonderful but I went to rest and on the night of Saturday it was disco music, very very strong, at the entrance bar and restaurant, so Icould not sleep. The music was on until 1.30 am and you listening to it like you were in the middle of a disco bar. It is an old hotel, rooms are small, expensive, and our rooms were the worst

Ödenen fiyatla aldığınız hizmet asla uyumlu değil. Lüks otel konseptli olduğunuzu iddia ediyorsanız lüks otelde konaklama hissi vermeniz gerekiyor. Deluxia deniz manzaralı otel rezervasyonu yaptım. Özellikle doğum günü için geldiğimizi belirtmiş olmamıza rağmen ne karşılamada ne oda içinde ne de yemek rezervasyonun da bir şıklık yok. Karşılamada soğuk havlu, oda içinde herhangi bir mini ikram müşteriyi iyi hissettirecek bir jest yok. Havuz başı hizmeti yetersiz. Şezlong için süngerimiz kalmadı cevabı aldık. Ben başka boş şezlongta görüp istedim.Bira istedik 50lik bitti denildi. otel girişinde valizlerimizi alan personel ilgili ve güler yüzlüydü. Evet otel tarihi bina konsepti iç dizaynı konumu manzarası olarak çok güzel. Ancak asla lüks hizmet sunuyoruz denmemeli. Herhangi bir şehir otelinde de bu kadar ilgi görürsünüz zaten. Lüksün tanımı bu değil. Odalar yüksek tavanlı olduğu için çok ferah, ancak otelin yanında gece yarısına kadar yüksek sesle müzik çalan başka bir mekan olduğu için bütün ses oda içinde. Tarihi eser olduğu için klima olmaması çok normal ancak camlar açık olduğu için bütün gece Demet Akalın duymak zorunda kalabilirsiniz.Yemekler güzel ancak serviste de ufak tefek sıkıntılar var. Sürekli bir şey istemek zorunda kalıyorsunuz. (Buz, peçete, küllük sabah kahvaltısında çay,ayakları oynayan masaya destek vb) Bu fiyatları talep ediyorsanız lüks hizmet deneyimini müşteriye hissetirmeniz gerekli.
