We booked 2 premium rooms in the main hotel with sea views and when we got there one was in the annex, which was a small room, with no room and a terrible smell. Upon complaint they reluctantly moved us to the main hotel part but the 2 rooms were entirely different - 1 a beautiful large room with a view and the other a small room with partial view. Overall the hotel facilities were good but the situation with the room soured he visit. When we were checking in there was a lady complaining about exactly the same thing so is suspect that they purposely overbooked the good premium rooms and transfer you to inferior ones. Avoid the Annex - no elevators, no view, bad smell.

The room was nice and the view was awesome. The people were very kind and we got complimentary coffee. The staff were the best! Sadly it was very loud, I could hear the laundry being done outside my room and the neighbors knocking on their door and leaving and coming. The mosque woke me up really early too. You can hear every sound from the inside and outside like the walls are made of paper. The water pressure was also really bad in the shower and kept coming and going. Also the spa needed to be reserved to use even the complimentary parts so I wasn't able to do it during their 12pm-8pm deadline. That was unfortunate because I was looking forward to just sitting in the steam room. The breakfast was amazing though!! I loved all the different salads and olive dishes! The location was really good too. Overall a good experience.

We had an excellent stay here. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean. Very close to a number of restaurants, and the local sights (Hagia Sophia, Sultan Ahmet Mosque, etc.). The only drawback was the gym. There's 2 treadmills and a dumbbell set, but in a crowded small room.

Superbly positioned hotel in a quiet area but a short stroll to many sights and a great view from our Juliet balcony (room 301). We were looked at exquisitely by all the staff, especially Salish, who was a star. Thoroughly recommended!

The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and had plenty of blankets and pillows. I loved the jetted tub and handheld shower faucet. Having coffee and tea in the room was so nice. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was friendly and professional. I would happily stay here again, and refer friends to GLK!

The room was adequate in size and cleanliness, but overall the experience felt fairly average. There was also some confusion regarding our reservation through Expedia. Our booking showed a room for four adults as part of a package with four airfare tickets, yet upon check-in we were charged additional fees for each guest, despite no added services being included. Service throughout our stay was generally okay, but nothing particularly stood out, which made the overall impression of the hotel feel more mid-level than expected.

The room was clean and welll decorated but a little tight as we had ambulatory issues. Probably should have informed during booking/check-in for change.Nevertheless, the stafff was most accomodating - helpful,gracious even helped us navigating the hilly walkway. I paid extra for a sea view room - the picture shows bed facing a huge window with the sea. In reality I got a room with trees and construction blocking any view. Also has train going by regularly.
