The villa was perfect for our mini vacation! After staying in hotels the week before, it was so nice to come home to a place to sit (living room) and eat (dining room). My boyfriend loved the coffee! Islander Resort was the perfect resort for a family with kids. The pool has zero entry and no super deep ends, it’s right on the water — there’s a basketball court and mini golf course right off the water, you can easily rent bikes as an amenity and bike around the resort or to other local shops… the list goes on. Islamorada is also family friendly island with lots of things to do— don’t skip Theater of the Sea. The Dolphin show wowed all 3 of the kids. We rented a car and drove from the Villas to the main resort but took the free shuttle a couple of times when needed. The Villa side is quieter but provides the space and layout needed for a bigger family. Truly the best of both worlds
