Oceanfront setting: the shoreline directly in front is rocky rather than sandy, with lovely sandy beach spots just a short walk away.
Guest Access:
Self check-in with a keypad/lockbox. Before arrival we'll send your personal access code and clear step-by-step instructions. Check-in from 4:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM (let us know if you'd like to request an earlier arrival and we'll do our best). To release your access codes, completing the quick online registration form is required. A team member is nearby and highly responsive throughout your stay. Helpful tip: each A/C thermostat has its own power button that must be switched on.
The Neighborhood:
Yaxché Condominiums is located in the desirable mid-island area of Isla Mujeres, right next to Isla Village, where you’ll find restaurants, cafés, shops, spa services, and convenient essentials just a short walk away. The supermarket Chedraui is also nearby, and downtown Isla Mujeres and famous Playa Norte are only a short golf cart or taxi ride away.
The condominium sits directly on the Caribbean coastline, making it a beautiful place to enjoy the sea breeze and unforgettable sunrises. This part of the shoreline is natural and rocky (not a sandy beach), which gives it a dramatic oceanfront setting. For swimming and sandy beach access, there are lovely beach spots just a short walk away.
One of the best parts of staying here is enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of this side of the island, while still being close to great restaurants, beach clubs, shopping, and everything Isla Mujeres has to offer.

We highly recommend renting a golf cart or bicycles to explore beaches, restaurants, and hidden corners of the island at your own pace.
Other Things to Note:
Before arrival, please complete the online registration and send a photo ID for every guest - we require an ID for each guest to authorize access to the property and to send your check-in details/codes.
You will also be asked to sign the condominium regulations required by the building.
Tropical island note: the condominium receives regular preventative fumigation, but due to the island's tropical climate small insects such as ants may occasionally appear. Please avoid leaving food outside the refrigerator.
Air conditioning: for proper performance, keep doors and windows closed while in use and avoid setting the temperature below 21°C. Note each thermostat has its own power button.
Island utilities: although uncommon, brief power outages may occur due to local utility fluctuations. These are usually resolved quickly and are part of island living.
Oceanfront setting: Yaxché is oceanfront, but the shoreline directly in front is rocky rather than a sandy beach. Sandy beach access is just minutes away, and the apartment is surrounded by tropical vegetation for a peaceful, private garden atmosphere.
