Our host was extremely responsive to any question about the home or simply where to go and how to get there. The home was beautiful and extremely well maintained. The daily service was very good as well. i would recommend this property to anyone coming to ISLA-it is located in the center of the island and close to everything.

Most Wonderful Hosts

Everything about our stay at Casa Ensenada was superb. The communication was too notch. One of the owners was there to greet us upon arrival to show us around the home and give us some tips on navigating the island. I hey had a fresh bowl of pico, guac and a kitchen of margaritas for us to enjoy after a morning of traveling. Daily cleanings including our own personal laundry was amazing. They checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well and to make sure we didn’t need anything. The set up our transfers from the airport to the ferry and we requested a golf cart for the week that they also set up and had waiting for us as we arrived. Unfortunately one of the members of our family had to go to the hospital Nick and Terri were right by their phones to make sure we got wveything taken care of. The house had everything we needed to fully function. Literally the most perfect week on the island. Nick and Terri you both were wonderful. We look forward to bringing our family back and making more memories at your beautiful property. I cannot thank you enough!The Parzow Family

Best Family Beach House

Casa Ensenada was perfect for our group! Spacious, clean, and the daily housekeeping (with laundry!) was a huge plus. The welcome guac, pico, and margaritas were a great touch. Hosts made everything easy by arranging golf carts and transport. We made amazing family memories—can’t wait to return!

Secluded Paradise is as advertised

The central location of Casa Ensanada makes it easy to get anywhere on the island in less than 10 minutes. Nick and the team were extremely responsive from start to finish. I highly recommend letting Tere prepare at least several meals.

Amazing Holiday Vacation on the beach!

This property is amazing, location is perfect, it’s beautiful and has absolutely everything you could need, The host was extremely helpful and available if we needed anything cleaning service is daily including laundry, we enjoyed having a small pool, which can be heated, spacious bedrooms and all had a balcony. We enjoyed family dinners at the huge dining table, it felt like home. Well done.

Paradise on the Island

Along with the beauty of this spacious beautiful house was the attention to detail of the staff. Tere and Terry were both super attentive and made our stay as if it were out home. The location was a quick and fun ride in a go-kart to where all the action was. They even reserved our go- cart for us making the arrival to the island even better. I would very highly recommend staying here for a family getaway. Our bunch of 7 people had a blast and we will be returning.

Luxury Home

This house was beautiful and comfortable with everything you need a text away. More beach towels, no problem. Beach toys, no problem. Floaties, no problem. The on site staff is courteous, helpful, and completely unobtrusive. At first I was worried about privacy with a staff living on the property but we never had any issues. David and Tere were attentive to our needs and prompt. The concierge Tara greeted us with a tour, margaritas, and much needed snacks. Then property owner Nick took over helping us with calling cabs, coordinating golf carts, and corresponding with staff. The pool was small, but 5 feet deep, so we could still have fun with the kids while swimming a bit ourselves. The only issue we had was water pressure. On multiple days someone lost water in the middle of their shower. Nick always responded promptly and reset the system which took about 20 minutes or so, but we learned it is best to avoid multiple showers all at the same time. All in all we enjoyed making meals in the kitchen with all the supplies you could need and a grocery store walking distance away. We received help with our transport from the airport to the ferry. We really felt spoiled at Casa Ensenada. The beach area is cool for finding great shells and putting your feet in the water but the elderly and small children may have some difficulty getting down to it. This shouldn't be a problem though because the beautiful beaches of Isla Mujeres are just a short $5 cab ride away. The house is very central making it easy to go anywhere you need to, and is right next to a restaurant making it easy for cab drivers to know where to drop you off. Owner Kristen can also help you find a private snorkeling tour, just make sure to check the weather! Lots of opportunities for fun here.

I am spoiled now!

The house was beautiful and just as listed, and the on-site service was hands-down the best we have had anywhere. Tara is friendly and professional and ON IT! The on-site staff are courteous and discreet & only a text away if you need something. I realized on the first night I had forgotten razor… I simply texted Tara and had one in 10 minutes. This was at 10 PM! I would highly recommend having the chef prepare a welcome dinner; it was fantastic and made our first night very relaxing. The tres leches was delicious, and Tara makes REALLY GOOD margaritas! I will say that pulling up to the location in an alley surrounded by buildings and houses, we were were all a little surprised & worried because it’s not exactly what you expect of a beach house, but the location actually ended up being pretty perfect as we had access to a small but gorgeous beach, as well as convenient, delicious dining nearby… Def get a golf cart because you can easily access all of the gorgeous beaches in a short ride. I know the listing mentions this, but I will reiterate, this may not be the best beach location for families with younger children if you want to be able to let them just run outside and play on the beach. It is not an easy climb down to the beach that is accessible from the property, but it is breathtakingly beautiful with the rocky cliffs. The house itself is well equipped for children, but again, in my opinion the beach is more of an adult experience. I would highly recommend this property, and we will definitely consider it when we return. We may check out the price of rentals on the other side of the island where the white sandy beaches and calmer water is, but I have a feeling for the price, you can’t beat this listing, especially with a larger group.

Beautiful house and Great Service!

The house is fabulous! It is a beautiful, clean, large house that is well-decorated and well stocked (re kitchen supplies, towels etc). The house manager (Tara) and her team were available at a moments notice to help out with everything we needed. We enjoyed soaking in the small pool in the enclosed patio. Unfortunately, it was a bit cool on Isla Mujeres during our stay (in January)- but the pool was wonderfully warm!

Amazing service at Casa Ensenada

We recently stayed 8 days at Casa Ensenada over New Years. From the moment we booked, Tara the concierge was so prompt and thoughtful in answering all our questions as we had never been to the island. She helped out group of 13 with all our dinner reservation and excursion bookings. Tara has excellent customer service. The on-site staff and chef are so friendly. They cooked delicious food and desserts. I highly recommend this property. And we hope to come back.

The island was perfect for our group of two adults and five teenagers. Enough adventures but only four miles so they couldn’t get lost. The house was perfect. We rented the third floor for the adults and it gave us the perfect getaway. Tara made everything so easy for us. I’ve never had someone at a vacation rental so helpful and available.

Tropical family Thanksgiving

From my first contact with Tara, the private concierge, through our good-byes, our stay was the perfect combination of luxury and chill. Before our trip, Tara was in contact to help arrange transportation, meals, grocery deliveries and in-home Covid tests. As we arrived, she and the house manager greeted us at the drive and got us settled in with an explanation of the house and her availability to help us during our stay. We rented the entire home and were glad we did as our family had plenty of space to gather for meals as well as to have room for private time. The house was completely stocked with everything we needed from sunscreen to beach towels and chairs to bikes. Tara responded immediately to any questions or requests we had, even arranging a house call by a doctor. Oh, and the food prepared by the chef was wonderful!!! Overall, this was one of the finest VRBO experiences we have had and would return to this property without any hesitation. Thanks to the staff who made this house feel like a home!

Relaxing Retreat!!

This property is even more fantastic than the photos!! The rooms are very large and luxurious and furnished beautifully!! The property staff and owner are extremely helpful and lovely people and we would recommend staying here to anyone. The house location is a few minute ride to everything yet secluded enough to be peaceful.

Wonderful 6 day stay. House looks exactly like pictures listed. When we arrived one air conditioner was not working. It was promptly replaced same day. Tara is so responsive and wonderful to work with. On-site staff is amazing and catered to our every need. Beach is a little rocky but great for a lazy day in the sun while my eight year old played in the sand, looked for sea glass, and wadded in the water. Wishing we saw the turtles who nested on our beach but there is always next time.

Tara, Candy, Tere and David were the BEST. House has everything you could possibly need and thank GOD for the air conditioner in every room of the house! Family Vacation

This house is amazing. Everything was so clean, had everything you needed for any cooking. The staff went out of there way to make sure we had everything we needed.. All I had to do was test Tara and it was done. I highly recommend this place. The beach was beautiful, and so peaceful, a little rocky for our 4 grandkids but we spent a couple days there and then enjoyed the beautiful beaches around us. We loved riding around on the golf carts. I cant wait to visit again.

Wonderful Extended Vacation in Isla

Just got back from an amazing stay in Isla Mujeres at Casa Ensenada. We booked the entire house, including the penthouse level for a portion of the trip. The views from the penthouse level and deck soak tub are incredible. The staff was very attentive, and the house was kept extremely clean. Thank you Tara, David and Candy for the wonderful memories! We will be back!

Perfect in every way

The only thing better than the house itself was the friendliness and attentiveness of the entire staff! Tara and the entire crew are rock stars! The house was beautiful and had every amenity imaginable. The chefs prepared an amazing meal which was the best we had on the island, the daily cleaning service was icing on the cake. There was no lack of detail and care in every interaction, and they genuinely went above and beyond. The house is centrally located and very convenient to several restaurants, just a short drive to North Beach, and the beach off the house itself is breathtaking. It was hard to leave but we will definitely be back!

Bachelorette Trip

This was our first time in Isla Mujeres and we already can’t wait to return. I can’t recommend this house enough! Spacious, beautiful, clean, amazing patio/pool, beautiful views, close to everything, etc. Tara and the house staff were so sweet and accommodating, too. We will definitely be looking for this house for our next trip!
