The hotel has 11 rooms in total, so it also works well for groups, retreats and family or friends trips. This listing is a private room with a comfortable queen bed for up to 2 guests; lounges, terraces and rooftop are shared common areas.
There is no pool or direct beach access, but one of Holbox's most beautiful beaches is a 10-minute walk (about 10 blocks). Thanks to our beach-club partnerships, guests get a free drink at one beach club and 10% off at another.
The Neighborhood:
The hotel is 2 blocks from the ferry, perfect for arrivals and departures, and within a few minutes' walk of the town center, top restaurants, shops, bars and the beach (5-10 blocks away).
There is a well-stocked convenience store next door, handy during your stay. In the evenings you may see locals socializing nearby. The island is calm, safe and full of warm, respectful people. Streets can be dark at night, which is normal for Holbox, but the island is very safe.
Getting Around:
Holbox has no paved roads, and that is part of its charm: you get around on foot or by golf cart. If you rent a golf cart, you can park it right outside the hotel. From the mainland (Chiquila), the ferry drops you just 2 blocks away.
Other Things to Note:
Before arrival, we request a photo of the official ID of every guest staying, plus signature of the property rules. Each guest must provide a valid official ID to authorize access. This keeps a harmonious coexistence with neighbors and complies with building rules.
You may encounter local wildlife during your stay (birds, raccoons, dogs, geckos, spiders, scorpions). Please respect them; we protect the environment and we are guests in their habitat. Avoid leaving food out in the open.
Your stay includes cleaning before arrival and after departure, plus basic welcome amenities (toilet paper, shampoo, soap and essentials). Extra cleaning or restocking during your stay is available for an additional cost.
For the AC to work properly, keep doors and windows closed while it runs and do not set it below 21C.
Interaction with Guests:
We offer self check-in for a smooth arrival. There is a front desk, but the receptionist is not there at all times; he lives on-site and is available whenever you need anything. We are always reachable to help during your stay.
