The room sleeps 2 with one comfortable queen bed, a private full bathroom, air conditioning and a private balcony/terrace.
Guest Access:
This is an 11-room eco-hotel, also great for groups, retreats and family or friends' trips. There is no pool or direct beach access, but one of Holbox's most beautiful beaches is about a 10-minute walk (10 blocks) away. We partner with beach clubs: guests get a free drink at one and 10% off at another. Self check-in for a smooth arrival.
The Neighborhood:
The hotel is two blocks from the ferry, very convenient for arrivals and departures, and a short walk to the island center, restaurants, stores, bars and the beach (5-10 blocks away). Next door there is a convenience store popular with locals. In the evenings you may see people enjoying drinks nearby, but there's nothing to worry about: the island is calm, safe and full of warm, respectful people. It can be dark at night, as is typical of the island, but rest assured Holbox is very safe.
Getting Around:
There are no paved roads in Holbox, and that's part of its charm: you get around on foot or by golf cart. If you rent one, you can park it right outside the hotel.
Other Things to Note:
Before arrival, we will request an official photo ID of every guest who will be staying, along with the signed property regulations. This is required to authorize access and maintain good relations with neighbors.
Wildlife: you will likely encounter birds, raccoons, local dogs and small animals (geckos, spiders, scorpions). Please respect them; we care for the environment and we are visiting their habitat. To avoid attracting them, do not leave food out in the open.
Your reservation includes cleaning before arrival and after departure, plus basic welcome amenities (toilet paper, shampoo, soap, etc.). Extra cleaning or restocking during your stay is available for an additional cost.
Air conditioning: please keep doors and windows closed while it runs and do not set it below 21C for proper operation.
Interaction with Guests:
We have a front desk, however the receptionist is not at the front desk all the time, he lives in the hotel and if you need anything you can contact him and he will assist you.
