Overall good location

Experience was good. Needed towels but got them early in the stay. Garbage in garage was not good, smell. The master beth shower we were never able to figure out how to get hot water but other shower was fine. Overall the layout of house was great.

We enjoyed very much the house, there are some things that need to be arrange such as the kitchen supplies and bathroom of the main room was not working properly

Disgustingly Dirty

My husband and I were in Houston for two nights due to a death in the family. The place was very obviously not cleaned. The toilet was visibly dirty (which really grossed me out), the floors were not swept/vacuumed and they were sticky. There was stinky trash left in the kitchen. Dishes in the cabinet were dirty. The next day I bought some ground coffee and when I opened the coffee maker saw the basket had old grounds and was covered in white mold. I spent the next 20 minutes cleaning it with soap and bleach so that I could use it. I cleaned the bathroom when I got there and changed the sheets because i didn’t trust the sheets on the bed to be clean because of everything else. Also the beds were made up with sheets only (no comforter or quilt). I informed the property manager that the place was not cleaned and asked if there was an additional charge for my stepdaughter to stay with us. He offered to let my stepdaughter stay at no charge because of the cleanliness complaint. I would have expected an offer to have the house cleaned. In retrospect I should have chosen a different property that was a little more expensive and had more reviews. Lesson learned!
