Cute lake house.

We had a great time staying at this cute lake house. It was conveniently located near Tarpon Springs which is a great little Greek town with lots of shops and restaurants. It was also only a short ride to BayCare Park , the reason we were staying in Florida. The house was very clean and comfortable. The temperature in the house was perfect and the beds were comfortable. The only wish I had was for there to be televisions in the bedrooms. The host was very efficient on getting back to us with any information we needed.

Wonderful weekend

Simply an amazing stay

I came to the area for work. This home was less than 2 miles to my work site so I went ahead and booked. I am so glad I did! It was super clean, close to work. Updated decore. Washer dryer, enclosed patio so you can enjoy the outdoors with minimal bugs. Beautiful view of the water. And my favorite part BEACH gear! I rarely get a day off so when I do the beach is my place. I also want to add that Daryen was such a gracious, kind and VERY responsive host! I would absolutely stay again. Thank you again for all of the assistance while I was at your home.

Nice and simple

This was a nice place to stay for a few days. It was close to a few things my friend and I wanted to do but also far enough away from the busy Tampa and Clearwater traffic. We enjoyed the house.

Pleasant stay

The home is tastefully furnished and decorated. It is pleasant, clean, and homey. There is plenty of room for two people on vacation. Among the attributes the shower is very nice, and the master bedroom has blackout curtains. The owner is very responsive to communication. Daybreak Cafe (1.1 mi.) is a wonderful diner. Small beach available at Anclote River Park (1.7mi.) Quiet neighbors, busy street. At the time of our rental, the Vrbo listing reads "boat, Kayak, canoe" which do not exist. Please note: 1. the fence around the back yard is incomplete, and 2. the sliding glass door rubs heavily on the bottom track and is hard to lock and unlock. Peaceful Lake House

The home was nicely appointed. Kitchen and bath all redone and new bedroom floors. The beds were very comfortable The large lanai out back was great to sit back and watch the nature and beautiful sunsets. We have family in town so location was perfect for us to take the 10 minute walk to their home. We love Tarpon Springs and all the wonderful Greek restaurants and some local breakfast places too all within a 5 minute drive. The owners were very informative and responsive. Would love to stay again!

Resolving issues we had with house

We had tiny ants everywhere in the kitchen; later found them in front bedroom and living room; red ants at door entrance. We found ant spray and granulars; used and got control. Host temporarily resolved issues, but told her she needs exterminator, as the tiny ants are coming through the electrical outlet plates! Also, the water in this area is horrible, unless filtered properly. Her brand new dishwasher is pretty much ruined from the lime/calcium buildup. It doesn't work. We used Lime Away 5 times, using a whole bottle; ran DW 6 times and the water flow is "naught"! She may require a plumber. We have discussed and sent texts to her with recommendations and ideas, which she has accepted graciously and full heartedly. My husband and I will be returning, in February 2024, spending 10+ days. It's very clean and comfortable, we were very thankful for her attention. Hope you enjoy, if choose to stay. Close to food, restaurants and Sponge Docks of Tarpon Springs!
