"Location was within walking distance of the beach and shops. Not beach front. Strict on check in time, with no access to the pool area or parking before 4. Our room had a funky smell, and there were lots of rust spots in the tub(not a problem if you shower, but would be kind of gross if you were bathing a child). The kitchen is well stocked, the views of the sound were beautiful. We only had towels for one, when there were 3 people on the reservation. Did not get more towels for 2 days. All in all, location great, some hiccups with the rest."

"Thank you so much for the amazing stay in your house in Hatterus! Our family had an amazing time! The house is clean, open and perfect for experiencing the OBX! It is updated and very cozy! The dock in front of the property is fun to see crabs, fish, stingrays and even a small shark came through at dusk! It is very family friendly with plenty of comfortable seating!"

"The location was great and the bed was very comfortable. As advertised it is a small cabana but we were out and about most of the time so it was okay. We did experience difficulty with the lock when we arrived and had to contact the host but after several attempts and a prayer we finally got the lock to work. The host stated they will be replacing it soon. "

"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. We had never been to the Outer Banks before and it didn’t disappoint. The cabana is small, but it works well for two people. We had everything we needed during our stay. The unit was very clean and we loved that we could just park right underneath. Highly recommended for a couple’s getaway."
