"Wow, this place is perfect. We stayed in the courtyard room and it was clean, mattresses were comfy, AC was cold, and the walk to the beach was so short! I have stayed in beach front cottages that have longer walks. we arrived a little early but our room was ready so they let us check in. The door is weighted so don't lock yourself out without memorizing the code! Perfect place to enjoy a beach trip with your honey and your pup. they neighbors all had trucks and started a game of corn hole and just drank some beers together. It was very wholesome. No frills, great showers, clean, a spot to eat takeaway, and fridge and microwave. Perfect!"

"Great location! Ocean view room is the way to go! A little disappointed with the quality of the room though. Paid a premium for the Ocean View room and one of the two panes of glass in the window was fogged up. Bummer..... Also, the toilet leaked, ran every 10 minutes which was annoying in the middle of the night. Didn't try any of the food service or indoor pool so can't comment on those. Except for the fact that it's an aging property the stay was nice. Probably would try another venue next trip to the outer banks."

"Overall the room was clean and updated and a good value for the money. I did have an issue with the smoke alarm going off three times between 4:30am and to 6:00am. It looked like the battery needed to be changed so I went ahead and left."

"This was a fabulous property! Our room was a king dune view and was beautifully decorated, super clean and huge. Bed was really comfy and we had everything we needed. The staff were wonderful - they were so friendly and helpful and were great about replacing towels daily. They also promptly fixed our bedside lamps that weren't working. Breakfast was great with a large assortment of items. Outdoor pool was wonderful, too! We didn't use the hot tub so I can't comment on that. Would love to return to this little piece of paradise again in the future!"
