Great place

This place is great and also close everything in hatteras. It's a very layed back and chill place. This was probably our 6th time staying here in the last 4 years. We stayed in a cabin because of the bathroom. It's spacious enough for my wife and I, and we always bring our chocolate lab. We usually stay in the spring and fall. Everytime but once we've arrived early (not extremely early) and they've usually never had an issue with going on ahead and checking us in. There was a bad Nor'easter that hit and the water got up to the steps, but where you park your vehicle was dry. Everyone from my experience who stays here is always friendly and nice. It's not a trashy place. It's a perfect place for if you want a long stay, and not staying in a rental house with a group. Also it's a great place if you're coming down to mostly fish.

Nice place to stay. Would stay again. Just beware they charge $50 on pet fee's and their website clearly said $25 for cottages. No refund given for that. But other than that nice experience

My wife and I came here for our Honeymoon and after an initial miscommunication entirely on our end they were able to accommodate and salvage what could have been a very disappointing situation. They literally saved my Honeymoon and made my bride a very happy new wife indeed! 1 million stars...and a half

In a great location. We stayed in a cottage. Room was clean. Bathroom facilities were clean. The woman at the front desk (I think her name was Cassandra, but I could be wrong) was helpful and friendly. Only downside is the cottages are super close together and the neighbors that came for the weekend took up two cottages and they were obnoxiously loud until midnight.

Did not like the fact that there are cockroaches. Talked to the gentleman at the front desk advising we were checking out early due to the cockroaches. He said they spend thousands of dollars every year but can not get rod of all of them. Also when we got there i tries to rent linens since they advertised on their website they have them for rent. We was able to get sheets, toewels and wash clothes but they did not have blankets. We had to go to the dollar store to buy blankets. Over all would not stay there again. They do not offer any type of refunds. I did purchase travel ins so hopefully i get some money back since i paid for to stay from Saturday to Saturday and left of tuesday. I had 2 people traveling with me that have been allgery tested and tested positive for allergy to cockroaches.

The island is beautiful if you’re a breakfast person I wouldn’t suggest coming here cause nothing opens till 11 o’clock a lot don’t open till 234 and 5 o’clock and then they close at nine
