"We stayed at The Cabin at Alta Vista for a few nights this April and it was exactly as advertised. The cabin was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. One of the highlights was the sunroom—the views are spectacular, and we were lucky enough to see a family of about 10 deer right outside on our first day!The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into the amenities; the coffee and tea selection was actually much better than what you’d find at a high-end hotel. One tip for future guests: the drive up the mountain is stunningly beautiful, but it can be a bit challenging. I’d definitely recommend timing your arrival for daylight hours to make the climb easier. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Great cozy cabin to getaway to! Plenty of room for 6 of us to relax. Beds were comfortable, well-stocked kitchen, and hot tub was a nice perk. Will keep in mind if we come back to the area!"
