We found mold in the ice cubes from the machine on the floor. Rooms had a combo smell of bleach and mold as well. Shower was extra slippery with not mat to alleviate that. Room a/c was loud and did not hold the temperature set! In other words, an ice box. Morning breakfast buffet was sub par. Food was bland or cold. The Westin is one of Marriott’s high end properties. Not so on Hilton Head Island. Extremely disappointed with my choice to stay there. Choose another hotel and avoid these pitfalls."

"This was our first time staying at HHBT and we were very satisfied. The staff at check was very friendly and the process was quick. Our unit was very conveniently located just steps from the pool and beach. While the bedroom was a bit cozy, the rest of the unit fully met our needs and made for a very stress-free week of relaxing in the sun. We really enjoyed our time here."
