This is an excellent place to stay for a short visit to Halifax. It is close to all tourist sites (we walked or cycled everywhere), parking is free and the rooms are roomy with lots of storage space to unpack your bags. Laundry facilities were a welcome surprise.

We didn’t know what to expect when staying at King’s College for our trip to Halifax but we were pleasantly surprised. The double room spaces are quite large, the price is affordable, and the staff are generous and work hard to make the stay enjoyable for you. Would definitely stay again!

If you want a safe, budget-friendly stay in Halifax, this is a great option. It has security, free parking, and a central location. The accommodation is very basic- bed, towels, soap and shampoo- but if you are here to see the city. you do not need a fancy room. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was vey friendly and helpful.
