We enjoyed our stay at the Lord Nelson Hotel. The front desk staff are unfortunately not very friendly. They proceed with the check in and check out process in a rather robotic manner, without smiles or conversation. I would suggest front desk training program with an emphasis on representing the hotel in a positive way considering they are the first point of contact for guests.

Staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel lobby and rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location for exploring the city. We will definitely make this our go to accommodation when staying in Halifax.
