Gorgeous room, but not a tattoo friendly onsen. Luckily the tub was big and deep. Not a lot of restaurants or shops around but its a good location away from the crowds and easy access to the ropeways.

Great hotel and clean. Very nice onsen and massage chair. I would definitely return! The walk from the tramway is 6 minutes along flat, but otherwise the walk up from the station is worth taking a taxi as it is quite steep.

Rooms were excellent, clean and very roomy. Onsen was great and well maintained. Only complaint is there is only one restaurant within walking distance. Everything is far and hilly, without a car this can be very inconvenient. The day we were there, it was raining and we could not even get a cab. Had to to walk 10 min to a bus stop and wait in the rain. Other than tat i highly recommend the hotel.

Room was beautiful and spacious with a stunning view of the mountains. Onsens are downstairs and also have a beautiful view if you go into the outdoors one. At night its a lil spooky but in the morning you can watch the birds fly around while you soak. There's a daily Yamazaki a 20 minute walk away and a cute little restaurant about 5 minutes away if you get hungry. Out of all the accommodations we had in Japan this one was my favorite

A little out the way but good facilities and onsen

The hotel was a bit of a trek with luggage, my advice is to download the GO TaXi app which we used several times in the evening when the steep climb was too much. The morning of check out there was obviously too many people using the app so we had to walk to the ropeway which was around 10 mins downhill. The onsen was lovely and we all really enjoyed it. The room/ apartment was massive and although a bit dated had plenty of room.

Beautiful view from our room. Only down side was our room was on the warmer side. And we could not figure out the AC units remote. Even with google translate pictures, the settings werent working. We resorted to opening the balcony windows and turning the heat off. Other than that the room was clean and an enjoyable space.

der Aufenthaltsort ist im Grünen am Hang gelegen. Kein Problem für sportliche Typen. Es gibt ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss eine Cablecar Station (Naka Gora). Nachteil dieser Station, sie wird nur etwa bis 17.00h bedient. Wenn du später zurückkommen möchtest, muss du zu Fuss gehen oder ein Taxi nehmen. Es gibt in der Nähe einige gute Restaurants. Leider sind alle ungefähr 20 - 30 (Fuss) Minuten entfernt. Die Wege sind teilweise steil. Nimm ein Taxi. Auch gibt es Resturants, die wären gem. Google geöffnet gewesen, was leider nicht der Fall war. Ebenfalls gibt es kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung. Ich möchte betonen, dass die Unterkunft geniel ist. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir hatten einen exzellenten Aufenhalt. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr grosszügig und es fehlt an nichts. Auch das Onsen ist sehr empfehlenswert. Einfach toll. Tipp: Bring etwas zum Essen und Trinken mit. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet. Dann musst du nicht geich am ersten Abend verhungern oder verdursten und kannst die darauffolgenden Tage in Ruhe angehen. So hast du keinen Stress. Es lohnt sich.
