Wonderful stay! The staff was very friendly. They offer so many amenities snacks beer water and even offered hair product free of charge which was great because I had forgotten mine. Everything was above and beyond and the soaking tub was so nice after a day of sight seeing.
Such a lovely boutique hotel with beautiful facilities. Amazing hospitality - the staff made us feel very welcome. Our first Ryokan experience couldn't have been better. There is a Family Mart nearby and the Ashi Lake is only a 15 minutes bus ride away. We hope to be back soon!
A dream stay! It is the most authentic Japanese experience we could’ve ever imagined. Absolutely breathtaking room (we got the room with the private hot spring and garden) and just wow. It was our last hotel before we traveled back home and we really are grateful it was! They provide excellent service and the amenities and cleanliness is top notch. I would highly recommend this to anyone! Worth the money.
We stayed in the large room so had plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the in room bath. Be warned that no food is available on the premises. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and there are few places to eat. We ended up eating two nights at the large tourist hotel buffet next door. The hotel does not give you information on restaurants etc and the few local restaurants do not take credit cards.
This was my first time staying in a Ryokan, the staff were very helpful, the room was a fantastic size, and the personal onsen was perfect. Transport here is surprisingly convenient for being in the mountains. The only downside I had was whomever was staying on the floor above was very heavy footed and caused me to wake up at 3am.
Very nice stay. Staff was lovely. The room was clean and very spacious. The onsen was absolutely magical.
Not many restaurants near by that open past 8 so organize your meals accordingly. Also taxis can be quite difficult to get.
Only issue was that the location on Hotels.com was wrong and it took us a while to find it as it isn’t written in English on google maps. But that is a very minor issue.
Super chambre, immense et très jolie. Literie incroyable.
Personnel serviable et à l’écoute ! Onsen privatif.
Proche d’un arrêt de bus pour se rendre dans le centre d’Hakone.
