I think this could be the best hotel I have stayed in. The rooms are spacious, comfortable with amazing views and robes and slippers to use around the hotel are provided. The onsens are incredible - so peaceful, not crowded and well worth the stay. All of the facilities from start to finish are so clean. The gardens are beautiful - so beautiful I proposed to my other half there and it was perfect! The staff are so helpful and lovely. My only call outs would be breakfast is fine but not a standout but this has been my opinion across all our stays in Japan! Buffet dinner and bookable dinner options are pricey for Japan but great :) 100% will stay again in the future! 10/10!

Beautiful hotel with great onsen. Very clean. Unlimited ice cream. Buffet was delicious. Some sewage smell in some parts towards the garden. Limited transpo, need shuttle or cab to get to hotel from the train station. No shuttle for like 2 hours as they take lunch. Otherwise it’s every 20 mins. I didn’t know why I needed to pay additional 300 yen at checkout. It wasn’t explained to me and the lady just punch everything in Japanese
