Beautiful setting, the private bath outside the room was a highlight of our trip, so special. The Kaiseki dinner made the whole experience feel authentic and the food was lovely, high quality.
Beautiful location in Hakone with walking distance to Hakone open air museum and chisuji fall, great food with option for kids. Hotel room with private onsen incredibly beautiful.
Beautiful property providing a lovely ryokan experience. Friendly staff, great authentic Japanese dining experience for dinner and breakfast, convenient bus stop out front and access to shuttle bus. We stayed in a quaint room with a private bath and Onsen. We really enjoyed our stay here.
This is a lovely property. We had a large corner room with a nice view. A good sized living room as well as the bedroom. The kaiseki dinner was excellent and the wait staff were helpful and polite. The onsen was hot at 44.5 deg and it relaxed me after a day of touring.
Everything about this property is outstanding from the gorgeous gardens and the comfortable onsen to the helpful staff and convenient location with shuttle into town. The food was some of the best we experienced during our visit to Japan. Our room (in the main building) was exquisite. We appreciated the efforts to respect and highlight the building’s history.
Exceeded expectations. We booked the Ryokan as we are a young couple visiting with my sibling for the first time. The traditional suite without the private Onsen was far larger than what we expected based on the provided photos. The Kaiseki dinner and breakfast was also plentiful. Staff were kind and English friendly. We are very excited we chose this Ryokan and would recommend to anyone.
Hotel was set against beautiful mountains with green lush landscape all around. The onsen was a wonderful treat at the beginning and end of each day. Rooms were traditional and clean with very nice bathroom toiletries. The food was amazing and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive.
We stayed in a private open-air villa and had an amazing time. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the food quality was excellent. It was a perfect traditional Japanese experience.
Immerse yourself in the historical atmosphere of the building and enjoy a wonderful time like in a museum. Beautiful scenery awakens the morning·
Exquisite set meal.Really good
