"We stayed here overnight ahead of doing the Rat Race The Wall. It was only a 30min max walk from registration on the Friday night and back to the Castle for the start the next day - which was perfect. Other options would have been a taxi or a bus from the road outside of the hotel. They also provided an early breakfast but we’d already packed porridge so didn’t bother. Staff were friendly and for a room to sleep in for the night it was just what we needed - no frills. Hopefully will be staying there again next year!"
