Being so close to the station was ideal as we travelled by train. The hotel was clean and seemed to be newly refurbished. There was an ace Indian called Shaha just a couple of walk away. The wetherspoons round the corner called Wiiliam Rufus was also clean and friendly.

A welcoming and helpful check-in at this stunning Victorian hotel right next to the train station and shops. The rooms were spotlessly clean and cosy with comfy beds, full of amenities. The staff were friendly. Thanks again! (also for storing my mountain bike) :)
