"Clean room, quite peaceful, friendly"

"We have stayed here a couple times to ski at Butternut. It is not fancy but well worth the money. Staff is very nice, beds are comfy and everything is squeaky clean. Location is great. Plenty of nearby restaurants. "

"The staff at the front desk was welcoming, the room was very nice. We enjoyed our stay. HOWEVER - on the day we were to arrive there was a major blizzard. There was no safe way to drive from the Boston area to Pittsfield. I called the hotel 2 days before to say that we would be arriving a day after our reservation. We had purchased cancellation insurance. When we arrived a day late I asked the front desk about a refund. They told me to call Expedia, which I did. Expedia tried to reach the hotel and was unable to do so. They referred me back to the the manager. It is now a week later and after several calls to the hotel, the manager never returned my call. I find this unacceptable."

"Loved our time here. It was a very cozy set up for a snowy week away, with a pellet stove, an ample amount of puzzles stocked in the house, and the surprise perk of Studley, a 12 year old cuddle machine of a cat who lives here and provided great company. The host was very responsive to all of my messages, and had the driveway promptly plowed in the inclimate weather "

"The rooms were nice. Thick mattresses. Refrigerator and microwave in rooms. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast offered waffles, eggs and sausage. More than enough parking. If you are visiting the Mahaiwe Theater, it's a five minute walk. I recommend NO.10 for a meal before the show. "
