Great hotel and check in was awesome. The pool/hot tub was loaded with kids for a hockey tournament that were not even a little disciplined when it came to behaviour so it made it difficult to enjoy the facilities (kids jumping into and splashing in the hot tub, etc - the screaming and playing didn’t bother me they were having fun but the lack of courtesy from the parents was disappointing). My biggest issue was I chose the breakfast option when I booked; there’s zero info on the breakfast option on Expedia and the hotel staff are absolutely clueless ultimately. We sat down in the restaurant and I confirmed with front desk staff and the waitress about the breakfast deal (which based on reviews was order from the menu and you’re good) we each got a simple breakfast and one beverage. When done we asked if anything further was required from the waitress and she smiled and said we were good to go. As we left the restaurant the woman at the bar was shouting across at me to come and settle up so I walked over and explained that I prepaid for breakfast through Expedia and was insistent there’s no such deal and demanded I charge it to my room - we were already in a hurry and I had no time to find a manager so I gave her the room info and we left. Several hours later I get a call that they’re charging my credit card for almost $50 for the simple breakfast we got - I’m going to have to call or message Expedia and the hotel to sort it out now.
