Checked in last Jan 9 around 10pm and the front desk wasn’t doing her job properly. Her voice was so low that you could barely understand what she was saying. Paid through expedia and aside from the damage deposit, she also repeatedly asked for my card for payment. I also work in a hotel so I know this process. In the end she apologized and said she was “frustrated” in that day. we’re tired too and still talked to her in a friendly manner but the front desk gotta do her job and at least be nice.

Friendly staff. The room looked great. The Inn is located in an ideal location of town. I gave it a 3 star because of the musky odour even after i opened the window. Other than the smell, it was nice.

Everything was great! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and had a fridge with a freezer and a microwave. The location is right next to a Tim Hortons and a McDonalds, as well as convenience stores and shopping. There is lots of parking, but no parking for a 5 ton truck or bigger. I did get lucky and was able to park on the side of the building and had a core long enough to where I could plug in. Wouldn’t recommend the Anavada Inn for anyone driving a larger truck, but for anyone else looking for a quiet place near lots of accommodations it’s worth looking into.

There was a nice selection for breakfast. Boiled eggs in their own bags in the fridge, toast, yoghurt, packaged instant oats, no cream, just coffee whiteners. Pretty good.
