The rooms are older so I didn't expect them to be perfect, but a couple changes could help. A sink cabinet in the bathroom would help since it is so small and had no storage. Also replacing the spotted carpet with vinyl plank flooring would be much better.
A perfect place to remain immersed in our Grand Canyon visit. Good food & drinks and ambience in the common areas. Rooms/Bathrooms are dated, but did the trick. Staff is helpful and operations are efficient.
Obviously the Grand Canyon is stunning but We stayed at Yavapai lodge 31 years ago and it has not been updated or improved since. The rooms are tired and dull. The catering is basic at best. Unappetising and expensive for the standard of food on offer
Lodging location does not get any more convenient for a visit to the Grand Canyon. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy and convenient with a spot right in front of the room. Having eating options and the General Store right at/near the lodge was a nice perk too. Would recommend staying here.
The hotel room was small and simple but clean and mostly updated. Staying in the park was so convenient for parking and riding the buses. There was a camp store that had groceries, snacks and souvenirs as well as a little restaurant for sandwiches and pizza. The check in building also had a cafe that serves Starbucks drinks as well as a nicer restaurant. We saw mule deer just outside our room and elk on the driveway!
Just like being at summer camp for adults! Visit the tavern for great service and food libations. Within Grans Canyon Nat’l Park and in walking distance from the Visitor Center and South Rim views. Shuttle stops at the front and back doors.
Rooms are inconsistent!
Our room had different things in it than my nephews... Couldn't find the ice machine for a few days. No signs for anything! Cable for both rooms was bad!! Tried to call it in, but as you go in/out of rooms for hikes, hard to fix..
If you fix 1 room, the other room goes out, and they fix their end, and ours goes out!
Caused a major argument in our family over it...
Blew our trip!
KINDA SUCKS!
A very pleasant stay! The room was nice and large, with everything we needed. Conveniently located near food and transportation. Would definitely recommend.

Enjoy the Canyon, do not get frustrated by details
Location is the key, otherwise the property deserves significant upgrade. The room was OK, but the bathroom cries for renovation. Be it as it may, we had wonderful time at Yavapai lodge.
Cranky lady at reception but other than that it was fine. Accommodation in line with a motel. Comfy beds. Food was reasonably priced for the location. Overll decent, with good communication and self checkin options. I would stay again.
It’s an older building with no elevator which was a bit of an issue for us, but we managed. Otherwise a great stay!!

Room ideal location for a National Park. Facilities basic but do the job. Food options a bit limited. Very well organised site.

Nice stay
Very nice stay for one night . Only problem was we were on first floor and our friend tripped as entering the building as the matting was very worn with a big hole and her foot got caught . Really needs replacing pronto before a nasty accident occurs
