The first room that I was given was horrific. I requested a different room, which was much better, but still very ‘tired’. The room furnishings, upholstery, curtains, carpet need to be replaced. This property is in dire need of a renovations. There were no additional security features on the room’s door. And the front entrance to the property was always left wide open. Additional room services such as cleaning was an additional cost.

This property was not clean. I had to ask for another set of sheets because the sheets had been slept in. There was no remote for the television and it could not be used. Workman began work at 6.30am in the room above us and it was not possible to continue to sleep. We were meant to stay 3 nights but booked out after one night.

Complete Disaster !! When we arrived at the hotel there was no staff at reception then quickly the chef came out and was doing chef and reception, the dining area was completely unorganised the pool had underwear in it at the deep end piles of cigarettes around the pool, there was a smaller pool area that was full of mould and green algae the pool didn’t look like it had been cleaned in weeks or months , our room had COCKROACHES in it, we quickly packed our bags and went to reception and the manager looked disinterested and was unapologetic just asked did we want a refund , some rooms were under renovation which is totally understandable but the halls were left dirty with wood chipping and shaving all down them would definitely not be back and will NOT be recommending to anyone !

I didn’t arrive until 6pm only to find my room was not ready and still had to be cleaned. After being at kids sport all day and just wanting to shower only to find out towels are not included. You have to pay $8 for a towel. Also found the cake of soap from the previous guest still in the shower. Fair to say I won’t stay here again.

Front desk continued an argument with staff for 10 mins while we waited to be booked in. Room unclean and suspect sheets not changed as dirty near feet. Hair in bathroom, windows grubby and we had to rehang curtains in order to close them. Toilet cistern had a huge crack, empty toilet roll on holder - unkept, untidy and unfriendly

The room curtains were tipped for the price that we paid pwe night did was not satisfactory. I was disappointed that the bathroom in the room was renovated, but there were things that were not completed correctly or nit sealed at all.

This is not a hotel, but a front for a scam. Upon trying to check in (late, having informed the hotel we would be checking in late and having received acknowledgement) there was nobody at reception. Nobody answered the phone, the front doors were wide open, looked liked a total mess. The only people present were the police arresting someone. We were forced to find accomodation elsewhere - not easy or cheap late at night with young children. In an attempt to get a refund in the following days - Hotels.com refused, saying they will only provide a refund if the hotel agrees. Of course the hotel did not agree, saying they don’t do check ins after 8pm, and if the guests don’t turn up before 8, they lose the money - even when they have a previous agreement to a late check in. And Hotel.com’s response? Sorry, nothing we can do. How does Hotels.com take money for a service they haven't provided, knowing they have not provided, then blame a third party for not being able “to process a refund”. Don’t ever stay at this hotel, and don’t ever use Hotels.com

Title: Very disappointing stay in Room 2021 Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I rarely post negative reviews, but our experience in Room 2021 was far below basic standards. We found two cockroaches—one in the room and another in the bathroom—which immediately raised hygiene concerns. The bedside curtain was broken on one side and wouldn’t close properly. The kettle was filthy inside with black, sticky residue; we didn’t dare use it and had to buy bottled water from the supermarket instead. The bathroom ceiling looked unfinished, with plasterboard visibly exposed. These issues suggest both poor cleanliness and neglected maintenance. For guest safety and comfort, I recommend a thorough pest treatment, proper deep cleaning and replacement of the kettle, immediate repair of the curtain, and completion of the bathroom ceiling. Until these are addressed, I cannot recommend this hotel.

This is my 3rd and LAST stay at this hotel as it has deteriorated badly and needs complete renovation .. little or no maintenance is carried out on rooms - shower door hanging off frame, toilet seat is broken and swings on toilet, bed sheets not changed , pillow cases soiled, room smelled terrible , dirty carpets , suspected bed lice , pests and cockroaches found running in room , no shelves in room and 2 plastic hangers provided, little or no cutlery, cups and glasses offered in kitchenette , handles on cupboards hanging off , no kitchen cloths or dishwashing liquid, no milk or sugar provided , limited tea and coffee sachets, breakfast service in restaurant is shambles and understaffed with long delays for service. Many horror stories from other guests.. rooms not ready etc… great location, quiet but very poor standards dropping quickly with no maintenance

I was informed via text message my room had been cancelled when on my way to the airport with a friend despite booking and paying for room 4 weeks prior. After texting back disgusted I received a further text to say it was a mistake and they would send me a room number with a code to enable me to check-in on arrival since the reception is only manned from 2-8pm. Poor to no communication. Poor management. On arrival luckily the hotel front door was open. I was able to find a lady near the reception desk fortunately, but she directed us to a room that was already occupied. Eventually escorted us to another room. Nice room with harbour view, but dirty, dust everywhere. Bed clean. No milk or cutlery in kitchen. Met others with similar problems. Pity it is run so poorly as area and surrounding eateries very nice. We chose not to dine in the hotel restaurant. Aged property. Needs updating and definitely new management. Very disappointing.
