"I’m not even sure how this “hotel” is still open.
There was dirt everywhere, ripped furniture, the pool was disgusting, rust all over the water fountains, towels weren’t even bath towels they’re hands towels and were all stained up. THERE IS MOLD IN THE BATHROOM, bugs in the hallway (my daughter took a picture of a massive spider), I can go on.
When I contacted the Owner for a refund and told him about everything he got extremely defensive and irate with me. He YELLED at me on the phone, wouldn’t even let me speak. And told me I’m being ridiculous and I can leave it I want.
Then upon checkout, there were other guests around and he said it wasn’t him who I spoke too and said he left at 6pm. Which, we were in the pool at 8pm and he was there. I can’t make this up.
This was the worst stay… I never expected to pay $115 for a night in a mold infested room to which I’d get verbally harassed by the owner and STILL be refused a refund.
I’m waiting in hopes my travelers ins or CheapTickets will help with this… but so far nothing.
This may also be the last time I book through CheapTickets. I’d advise you go straight through the hotel. BUT NOT THIS ONE. "
