I really liked the river view on the balcony. It offered some really pretty views. The hotel was decent. Since it's sat next to the parkway it wasn't quiet. I will not fault the hotel for that issue. Gatlinburg is extremely busy and people like to rev their engines super loud along the strip. I'm also used to indoor entry hotel doors and not external, so I'm sure it's common for sounds to travel. We would frquently hear our neighbors walking and talking around the cooridor. We were able to hear our neighbors from time to time through the room walls too. I did like that the hotel was within walking distance of some awesome attractions and restaurants. I loved the easy access to the free Gatlinburg Trolley. The indoor pool has access through outdoor means which may not be great for some in the winter time. Pool was okay, but can use a good cleaning along the lining. My family enjoyed the outdoor gas firepit on chilly nights. Breakfast was okay, it had some decent options and was standard. The service desk was always helpful and friendly which made check in and check out a breeze. I was glad that parking was decent. Some hotels charge out the wazoo for parking, but not this one thankfully. I also liked the choice in toiletry options for the room. It didnt cause my sensitive skin to break out. All in all, I'd say it was a 7.5 out of 10.

It is about a 15 minute walk to downtown area. It was very doable and we were able to avoid having to try to find parking downtown. The hotel was very hard to get in and out of in a car. There was additional parking underneath but that was even harder to get out of. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. We had a good view of the river. AC was loud but it drowned out the street noise-I think it would have been noisy from the street if the AC had not been loud. Breakfast was very limited. Drink machine did not work the entire stay. Waffle machine did not have mix and worker did not care. Biscuits dry and eggs were cold. Overall, it was a good location and it was a fine stay.

Friendly staff. They had a good breakfast. Its convenient to walk to many attractions and shopping. Beautiful view of the river and mountains from the balcony. I will stay again when im here. Traffic can be a bad at times gettimg in and out but someone always get through. We enjoyed our stay.

My only complaint is the noisy street (an out of hand car show was in town) it is also difficult to exit the parking lot due to being located on extremely busy road. Room was great, balcony view was exactly as pictured with comfortable seating. Breakfast was convenient. I would stay here again.

After being scammed with false advertising and being stuck 10 hours from home without a plan to where to let my kids sleep these amazing people found a spot for us for the night. Not only were they our rescuers but the room is amazing with a spectacular view; it was clean and secure. The kids enjoyed the enclosed pool that was warm and comfortable to swim even in October. We watched a bear casually stroll down the strip (don’t leave food in your car). The kids enjoyed the mountain Coaster very conveniently across the street and pizza the Brazilian way from 3 minutes walk away!!! Even if they are unable to accommodate us tonight we were able to salvage 2 days of our trip and will definitely be back and stay here from ever on.

We arrived early during a torrential rain storm. They let us into the laundry room to do our laundry before we could check in. Very grateful for that. The room was comfortable and I absolutely loved the balcony on Pigeon Creek. It was within walking distance of downtown. Breakfast was very good. Not one complaint!

We stayed a week and enjoyed our stay here very much. The staff was so friendly and always so helpful. The room was very clean and always smelled really good. Enjoyed the balcony and watching the otters and bears in the river.

Not a place to stay if you have small children

We did not have a good experience. The information provided when booking the room was a two-bedroom suite. I was expecting one door to enter the room and then two bedrooms. It was two rooms with conjoining access. In addition, the balcony door would not close, the nightstand was missing a leg so it would fall over if touched, one entry door was not sealed at the bottom so light was coming in with who knows what else, the areas next to the AC units had not been cleaned in a while and had small places next to them for little hands to get into. It was not safe for children and we ended up leaving after one night. I was able to talk to the staff about my concerns and Hotels.com was able to get my remaining stay refunded. I am greatly appreciative of Hotels.com for helping me get the refund. I will never be staying here again. The parking lot is awful trying to get in and out as well. Just an overall bad experience.
