Probably my best stay in a hotel in the Smokies! The customer service was outstanding, the room was clean and cozy with the roaring creek off the balcony with 2 nice rocking chairs. The property is well maintained. The REAL breakfast at the Heirloom House was included each day and a real sit down, order from the menu, upscaled restaurant. They serve dinner and drinks as well. Excellent customer service there too. If you need anything like ice or water or towels, it's only a text message away and is promptly provided. It's only a short walk to downtown Gatlinburg. The hotel is quiet with no children allowed. I would definitely stay there again.

Everything about this hotel is very special. Staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Matthew greeted us with such kindness and truly went out of his way to show us around and get us settled in. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. You are the right on the main road for a convenient stroll into town but feel absolutely tucked away with just the river, fireplace and your travel partners. All the details were lovely. The only thing to keep in mind is that there is no reception area , so all communication happens via texts, emails it waiting for the innkeepers in the parking lot area. Will definitely come back.

I was so excited for this stay but it has not gone as expected. The room and grounds are clean and very nice. The bed was comfortable, the staff was very friendly. The issues I had were, this is listed as a pet friendly hotel and I would not agree with that. There is not a pet relief area on the grounds and when I asked for areas the only ones available were right on a busy road, in a flower bed, or the hotel next door. So keep this in mind when traveling with a dog. I proactively paid the pet feed the week before my trip assuming it would be easier and in doing this gave them my credit card after already paying for my stay with a virtual card and not only did they try to run the whole stay through my personal card twice even though it was already paid, now 3 days after my stay they have run the pet fee through a second time. There was an issue with the room door code and the battery being dead in the lock and honestly I question if my room locked at all the first three days I was there. This has been a very disappointing experience overall.

This is by no means a luxury hotel, it feels like you are in a motel. The rooms are very small. The toilet was a foot and a half from our bed if we did not slide the door shut it was a ghastly sight! The pictures are quiet deceiving! This hotel is located on the busiest street in town we were there over Thanksgiving and it took us an hour to get out and cover 1 mile with bumper to bumper traffic. I had hoped to have a relaxing time but honestly there was no place to relax in the room and there is no common area. Unfortunately, it was too cold to sit on the balcony. We are experienced travelers and found it to be totally overpriced at almost 450.00 a night we stayed in the Majestic Glen. That said the staff was amazing and very responsive, they have a nice upscale restaurant on site with good food. This was a lifesaver because all restaurants in town were packed with people and with no availability. The Heirloom Room was not overcrowded we could relax and enjoy our meals.

Great Balcony view. The room was clean, fresh and not cluttered. The decor was quiet, simple and tasteful. It had zen like quality that made it very restful. The only thing I would add is a small microwave as we like to heat our milk for coffee but that’s a small thing. We loved that we were off the beaten path a little. It was a quite a contrast to the noise
