No sleep getaway!

Came to get away from our city life and relax and unwind. Unfortunately there was a huge family or stampede above us that stayed up all hours of the night and didn’t let us sleep. They would stomp around and drop things or run around at 2 am. So disappointed.

The area was nice but the condo we stayed in really needed attention. Some paint coming off the walls, toilet seat was cracked in front and behind. Carpet needs replaced. The swimming pools need attention as well. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Property badly needs updates, it’s definitely an older one. I’m sure the location makes it a bit more difficult to make major renovations as it’s on the side of the mountain. The view is gorgeous, and no issues getting into the area. Our unit was a two BR, with one queen and two twin beds, fine for our family of four. Beds were quite old, not comfortable. One of the kiddos slept on the couch but it wasn’t much better. Bathrooms were in poor shape as far as fixtures and need updates desperately. Overall a decent place for a base camp while visiting the area.

Really cool!

Definitely one of the best views of the smokies, very peaceful, wifi works well and the bed was very comfortable! Just 18 minutes from Gallinburg downtown and I think it is worth it the drive even though my car isn't AWD and I was afraid about the weather (I would never stay there in rainy or snowy days). I had issues to open the door with the code they sent me and my cellphone wasn't working (no connection), it would be much better if the had someone there to solve issues like that, thankfully my boyfriend could call them and ask for help. I would definitely go back there even thinking that they could make some improvements.

The unit was about 25 minutes from downtown gatlinburg. 7 minutes up mountain, but not a bad drive. Not much around, so youre best bet is to make your own food. This particular unit was very clean, but dated compared to other onsite properties. Was comfy and we enjoyed the view. If you're afraid of heights, the porch may be scary. No better view of the smokys and that was for sure.
