Great mix of antique and modern

Julieth is the host. She is very knowledgeable about the origins of the house and will respond within a few minutes to any requests (towels, tutorial on how to use the shower, etc.). The owner has done a magnificent job combining the antique beauty with all those modern things we feel we can't do without. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, but they were sparkling and inviting. The surrounding gardens are well-manicured. And there's a cocktail hour every day at 5:00! One issue: our room had a claw foot tub. I'm 72 and pretty agile, but didn't feel safe climbing in or out. Grab bars should be installed. I will be back!

The innkeeper Dulce is super friendly and very accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. For those who appreciate historical architecture it’s a must to visit. The room was very neat and spacious. The pool was clean and the bar area had everything we wanted to make cocktails. The furniture in the rooms and in the general area matches the atmosphere of the house. The bed was also very comfortable. We loved everything about our stay and hope to visit again. Five stars!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Delightful Stay!

Dulce was a sweet, kind and knowledgeable innkeeper. She showed my college-age daughter and I all around the house, explaining the history of the Hyde family home. Gorgeous house, beautifully decorated in period paintings, furniture, dishware, glassware, books, bedding, and more! We loved our room, the crisp bedding, the screened-in porch, the cool pool and warm hot tub, and the fancy China we used for our breakfast. We will come again!

Amazing!

Pictures don’t give it justice just how beautiful the house really is. The grounds are well kept and just as beautiful. Couldn’t ask for better service. Well worth it. We will be back.

Wonderful historic property with beautifully restored rooms upstairs and a drawing room, library and formal dining room downstairs. Our hostess was so friendly and gave us a tour of the house upon our arrival. Our room had a four post king bed, wardrobe, sitting area and desk. The bathroom had an antique toilet with a four claw bathtub. We enjoyed coffee and pastries for breakfast, glasses of champagne for the cocktail hour and cups of tea while we read in the library. The grounds were beautiful with a pool, spa and firepit. We will definitely go again!
