This place is in serious need of a renovation. It’s dirty , out dated and unkept. I had to get my room card replaced twice. Most of the staff didn’t understand me because they didn’t understand English. This place looks exactly the same as it did when I stayed here 40 years ago. I will never stay here again

This hotel was chosen as a quick and convenient stop. It has easy access on and off the highway. Staff were great! Very friendly and courteous. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Location is good. A number of restaurants within walking distance. (ie: Swiss Chalet). It is only a 10 minute drive to the downtown/waterfront area. We would stay here again.

Overall a good place to stay. Rooms were clean, amenities were good. Staff was friendly. The morning breakfast had a good selection that was quite good. Couple things that could be better.The carpet through out the hotel is quite worn and the bath towels are small in comparison to other hotels. Still a good place to stay.

We just needed a comfy bed.

Receptionists were nice and helpful. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was good and dining area is nice. I'd personally love to see the rooms updated as the location is great and they could easily charge more by doing so. Swiss Chalet literally across the road with CIBC, Dollarama and Giant Tiger only a few minutes walk. Seems popular with contractors so lots of trucks arriving late and starting early. I can understand they want them nearby, so maybe book visitors out the back where it's quieter.

The rooms were clean and there were no issues checking in. The building could definitely use some renovations and upgrades, however it was still a nice stay. Being on the ground floor with the window to the hallways was strange but okay, however the air conditioner was really loud. A fan in the room would’ve been a great alternative.

Dirty carpet in hallways and stairs. AC filter unit in room is filthy and smelly. Room for breakfast needs redoing...old.

We had a problem with our wifi. Had to message multiple times to get moved to a different room. Our view was an overflowing dumpster and trash. The breakfast room was very crowded.

The towel rack fell of the wall when we used a towel. You knew it was like that for some time. The bathroom didn’t lock. Dirty under the beds. Really, really dated.
