Where to start. This was a girls shopping trip for 3 ladies. When they arrived, the house had not been cleaned from the previous guests. Tried to contact the owner/host (Natalie) but she was unresponsive. Contacted the VRBO customer service and they also tried to contact Natalie. VRBO said to give it a couple of hours for response. In the mean time, I tried to come up with a plan B for the girls. I tried to contact Natalie a total of 7 times and was ghosted. She finally sent a text in almost 2 hours and said the house was clean with apologies. A simple text stating she got the message and was on it in the beginning would have been helpful to relieve anxiety. The doors didn't have blinds and blinds on some windows didn't shut all the way so the girls didn't feel safe at night. On the positive side, the house was quaint and located close to the main strip. I have been a user of VRBO numerous years and will continue. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I've had with an owner. Sad.
