As expected, good place to stop along the way

We were looking for a place to stop over for the night mid-trip with our small dog in tow. This place served that need well. The room was fine, and ours even had a fridge which was convenient. Not a destination kind of place one would want to hang out in, but as a very reasonably priced stopover location, and one that is dog friendly, this place fit the bill. It was nicer and much less expensive than another Motel 6 we stayed in earlier on the same trip.

Checked in after at 12 hour drive. Staff were quite friendly and professional. Room was not cleaned after the previous stay— 2 large clumps of hair with what looks to be apple pieces; as well as someone else’s toe nail. Floor was also sticky upon entry. When it was brought forth to the staff, they asked if I would like it cleaned in the morning— housekeeping did eventually come 2 days later, but the floor was in the same sticky condition. The room definitely wasn’t abhorrent, but someone else’s toe nails and hair being in the room definitely wasn’t exciting by any means. Definitely a bed to sleep on while you are away.

Price was right, it’s a Motel 6 so judging on a different scale, not terrible for a one night stay. The marijuana smoke is strong unfortunately, room very basic and relatively clean. Road noise is very high due to location. Again, it’s a motel 6 and you get what you pay for.

Upon checking in I was assigned a room which did not have a refrigerator or microwave as was listed in the single Queen room category description. I returned to front desk and was told all they had available with a fridge & micro was a Smoking room or a two double bed room so she moved us to the two bed room. The room was clean ands adequate although the air conditioner struggled to reduce the stuffiness in the room even though it was only in the low 70s outside. The bathroom was tiny and cramped plus the sink aerator was messed up making it easy to spray yourself with water when turning on the faucet. The elevator was Out Of Order so the only option is the stairs to upper floors. The side exterior "Emergency Exit ONLY" was constantly being propped open which is a safety concern. I only stayed one night and closed the door five separate times even though it was labeled "Alarm will Sound" the alarm was disconnected. The stairwell does were also being propped open repeatedly.

The hotel was a reasonable value for the cost. The elevator was not working, but they had it marked off and crew were working on it. When we returned at the end of the day, it seemed that housekeeping had started to service our room but had left without finishing - the bed was stripped (including one of OUR pillowcases for one pillow we'd brought with us) and the towels were gone. Nothing of our stuff was taken (a relief) and the lady at the desk was very helpful, finding us a new room on the same floor (since housekeeping was gone for the day). I'm not sure what the management has done to address the issue. The rooms and facility itself were quite clean, so it's not that the housekeeping staff doesn't do the job.

Was good overall! Elevator was ‘broken’ so had to climb stairs, then saw a staff member using said broken elevator on our last day. Area didn’t seem too safe, and was right next to a high way. Great, clean rooms!

It was ok

We were supposed to get a deluxe room with the microwave and fridge, but we ended up with a king room instead of a queen room so I guess we didn’t really need to complain. The place smelled bad in the hall. The rooms floor is kind of sticky and the more toilet seat had a crack in it. The bathtub wall was damaged.

Good for the price. We just needed somewhere to stay overnight for a Boston Red Sox game for a night. It was easy to get to from the train station. It was clean, however, you could see damage on the outlets from other patrons. Didn’t have a microwave or mini fridge in the room, no breakfast. But it was fine for one night.
